Branding & Visual Identity
Nomad Journal
A refined brand identity for a travel publication. Focused on timeless typography, structured layouts, and an editorial aesthetic built for exploration.
Nomad Journal is a digital and print publication celebrating travel, culture, and creative curiosity. The goal was to establish a visual identity that reflected the publication’s calm yet adventurous tone — minimal, editorial, and distinctly human.
Approach
The logo and supporting elements were crafted to feel adaptable — strong enough for print mastheads yet elegant for digital use.
The design direction centered on clarity and editorial restraint. A classic serif typeface paired with neutral colors created a foundation of trust and sophistication, while a flexible grid allowed visual freedom across formats. The logo and supporting elements were crafted to feel adaptable — strong enough for print mastheads yet elegant for digital use.
Outcome
The result is a cohesive identity that captures the spirit of exploration through simplicity.
Nomad Journal now has a refined brand system that communicates authority, wanderlust, and design maturity in every touchpoint.
Reflection
Nomad Journal demonstrates how minimal design can evoke emotional storytelling — by giving space for words, imagery, and tone to guide the narrative.
